It's the day after Xmas and there are no crowded streets, no long checkout lines to purchase anything and no sitting in your car waiting for the vehicle in front of you to move! It took about five minutes to drive to work today and when I drove into the car park which is usually jammed, to my great delight I found a parking space and slid easily into it. What joy!
The campus is practically empty and the holiday spirit persists. I have the feeling that there won't be a lot of serious work going on until after the first of the month.
